Vulnerable Students
Poverty forces children and youth to drop out of the education system to take on the responsibility of earning a living and supporting their families. Currently, there are considerable number of vulnerable children in Thailand.
…In 2023, 1.8 million students face the risk of dropping out due to poverty. The SCG Foundation has thus expanded its collaboration with various sectors to promote educational opportunities and reduce social inequality.
Scholarship Objectives
The SCG Foundation provides scholarships to children and youth with good conduct who are determined to continue their education but lack financial resources. These scholarships offer an opportunity for students to pursue higher education according to their abilities. The scholarships are grants with no repayment obligation and are continuous until the completion of a bachelor’s degree.
Scholarship recipients have guaranteed support to finish their education.
