SCG and SCG Foundation Pledge Support in Response to New Wave of COVID-19, Donating SCGP Paper Field Hospital Beds, The Innovative Solution Made from Recycled Paper to Help Care for COVID-19 Patients and Healthcare Workers

SCG and SCG Foundation donated COVID-19 innovations to provide immediate assistance due to the recent rapid spread of the COVID-19 across Thailand, resulting in a severe shortage of PPEs and beds necessary to cater to the growing number of patients. SCG has donated a series of SCGP Paper Field Hospital Bed, the innovative solution made from recycled paper engineered with an ergonomic design to fit Asian body features. The solution is lightweight and space-efficient for logistics and storage. It takes only 8 minutes for setup with no extra glue needed. The paper bed can be used for up to 3 months if kept away from water. The bed can support up to 100 kilograms of weight in horizontal positions.  A total of 3,500 paper beds have been delivered to hospitals and field hospitals across the country with the goal to timely enhance safety and convenience for healthcare workers, patients, and close contacts.

In this regard, the consideration of delivering “SCGP Paper Field Hospital Bed” will be decided based on appropriateness to help mitigate the situation the best way possible.
