The Kidney Disease Foundation of Thailand was established under the Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra.with Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhornserving as the Founder and Chairman since December 29, 1978. The foundation assists kidney disease patients with medication expenses, hospital treatments, dialysis with artificial kidneys, and kidney transplants. Additionally, it supports research, scholarships for nephrologists to study both locally and abroad, and specialized training for dialysis nurses, aiming to advance patient care to international standards. The foundation also provides accurate public education on kidney disease. SCG Foundation has supported the kidney transplant program since 2009.
