Sending help and encouragement to flood victims in various areas

SCG Foundation joins hands to alleviate people affected by floods in many areas to help them get through the flood soon. The help is as follows.

  1. We donated 500 sets of paper toilets to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (PWA) to deliver to the flood victims in Ayutthaya and Pathum Thani provinces.
  2. Together with the Ejan Facebook page and Petchkasem Foundation, we delivered 20 sacks of rice, 1,200 bottles of drinking water, 80 kg of meat, and 1,200 eggs to the kitchens in Sisaket province (with the CPAC team in the Northeast helped in delivering onsite).
  3. Together with the SCG North East Chain, the 2nd Army Area, and the PWA, we delivered 700 sets of emergency toilets to distribute to people in the high flooding area of Ubon Ratchathani and nearby provinces.
  4. Together with the Sheikhul Islam Office, we helped bedridden patients and the elderly by delivering necessities such as adult diapers, rice, drinking water, and eggs in Bangkok areas where the flood is still high. Many communities are affected, such as Nong Chok District, Lat Krabang District, etc.

Sending encouragement to SCG foundation scholarship students to participate in the 46th WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition

SCG Foundation’s Board of Directors met and gave a speech to scholarship students who represent Thailand to compete in the 46th WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition in 4 different skills, namely:

  • 3D Digital Game Art
  • Cookin
  • Restaurant Service
  • Health and Social Care

They will participate in the competition mentioned above this October.

Collaboration to create and develop modern technicians in the “Skilled Professional, Talented BIM People” project.

SCG Foundation joins hands with The Concrete Products and Aggregate Co., Ltd. (CPAC), Thai Building Information Modeling Association (TBIM), and Dusit Technical College to create BIM Modeler, the designer and construction personnel in the digital era, by signing a collaboration agreement in human resource development in the “Skilled Professional, Talented BIM people” project. It aims to build skills for students studying in the field of construction and architecture (Pilot project at Dusit Technical College) to become modern technician who is tech-savvy and help prepare them to have sufficient skills that meet the entrepreneur’s needs. We believe that students participating in the BIM training program until they are skilled will be able to work and win. They will graduate quickly and get a job quickly following the “Learn to Earn – Learn to Survive” concept.

Providing scholarships for  smart and ethical youth from the Genius Game Thailand tv show

Ms. Suvimol Chivaluk, Director and Manager of SCG Foundation, delivered scholarships to smart and ethical young people who can break the jackpot with their knowledge and potential in the #TheGeniusGame tv show on channel one 31. With Mr. Thongchai Prasongsanti and Mr. Champ, the show hosts, and Asst. Prof. Ratchot Chompunich, Vice President for Student Affairs and Sustainable Development, Kasetsart University, acted as a representative to accept the scholarships.

Because providing educational opportunities is sustainable human development.

“The School Must Survive” project in Khon Kaen, cooperation from SCGP volunteer staff

With the concept of developing and promoting educational institutions to be disease-free, safe places, children have access to hygienic utilities to reduce the spread of disease and other emerging diseases that may occur at any time. Therefore, the SCGP staff with volunteer minds at Phoenix Pulp and Paper Public Co., Ltd carry out the sharing opportunity project “The School Must Survive” at Ban Khambon Kururat Bamrung School in Khon Kaen province.

The effort and determination of volunteer staff who jointly renovate the nursing room, canteen, basin, milk freezer, and water dispenser will help children have good hygiene and reduce the risk of various diseases. Thank you for the cooperation from everyone.

“Professional Fund” for sustainable career building

SCG Foundation, led by Mr. Warapol Jennapar, Director and Secretary, and Ms. Suvimol Chivaluk, Director and Manager, went on a field visit to Ban Chong Fuen subdistrict, Pak Payun district, Phatthalung province. The team’s aim was to follow up on the work of the Professional Fund and the COVID-19 Relief Fund, where SCG Foundation provided a budget to support the establishment of a fund to create career opportunities and generate income so everyone can be self-reliant and survive in their community.

Because giving career opportunities is a sustainable give.

Encouraging to children with disabilities in need through wheelchairs donation

SCG Foundation donated 20 “wheelchairs for children” to the Thai with Disability Foundation to improve the quality of life of those children in need so that they can rely on themselves and survive sustainably. SCG Foundation team and staffs also help assemble several wheelchairs for the children.

The Thai with Disability Foundation is an organization founded by the disabled for the disabled. It has been declared a Public Charitable Institution established for coordinating with various public and private agencies in providing assistance, promoting, and improving the quality of life of people with disabilities, as well as promoting and supporting activities that are beneficial to the disabled across the country. One of the projects is “Wheelchairs for children,” to raise funds for wheelchairs and the reclining wheelchairs donation to the disabled nationwide.

Providing water with care from the heart to flood victims in Rayong

SCG Foundation provided 3,600 drinking water bottles to help relieve the suffering of flood victims. SCGS promptly provided and delivered to “EJan Kitchen” to send this caring concern to people affected by the flood. Even though the water level is starting to recede, some areas are still in crisis.

We would like to support to all flood victims to get through this crisis together soon.

Exchanging and learning with the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council

SCG Foundation joins in exchanging and learning with the staff of social policy, Human Resources and Social Development Strategy Division, Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) to learn about the country’s development guidelines under the 13th National Strategy to develop the direction and plan in the future under the direction of national development. Thank you to the team of NESDC for knowledge sharing to the fullest so that we can use the information for the benefit of social work afterward.

Congratulations on the success of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra at the world-class festival, the 70th Festival LJUBLJANA in the Republic of Slovenia

SCG Foundation congratulates the success of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra in performing at the 70th Festival LJUBLJANA at Cankarjev dom, the Republic of Slovenia, on August 29. On behalf of the sponsor, led by Mr. Chaovalit Ekabut, Executive Director, Ms. Suvimol Chivaluk, Director and Manager, together with the team, attended the concert and congratulated Dr. Narong Prangcharoen, Dean of the College of Music, Mahidol University and the band director in participating in this world-famous grand music festival in Europe.
