“Sapanboon Sapanjai Fighting Against COVID-19” Project Donates Small Patient Isolation Capsule for CT SCAN to Fort Thanarat Hospital in Prachuap Khiri Khan

SCG Foundation and SCG employees donated “Small Patient Isolation Capsule for CT SCAN” to Fort Thanarat Hospital in Prachuap Khiri Khan. The donation aims to help reduce infection risks among healthcare workers while transferring severe patients. SCG employees and Chang Poon Club members joined a collective effort to support the fight against the pandemic by donating to the project “Sapanboon Sapanjai Fighting Against COVID-19” to purchase necessary supplies and deliver them to those in need to express their concern and care.

We would like to be a part of the support to keep the patients, doctors, nurses, and all staff protected from COVID-19.

Donating Modular Bathroom to Chiang Mai’s Field Hospital

SCG Foundation and SCG North Chain donated 12 modular bathrooms produced by Service Solution Units – Modular Bathroom, SCG, to field hospital in Chiang Mai. The modular bathrooms are installed to facilitate the patients receiving care at the field hospital with added convenience and hygiene.

SCG and SCG Foundation Pledge Support in Response to New Wave of COVID-19, Donating SCGP Paper Field Hospital Beds, The Innovative Solution Made from Recycled Paper to Help Care for COVID-19 Patients and Healthcare Workers

SCG and SCG Foundation donated COVID-19 innovations to provide immediate assistance due to the recent rapid spread of the COVID-19 across Thailand, resulting in a severe shortage of PPEs and beds necessary to cater to the growing number of patients. SCG has donated a series of SCGP Paper Field Hospital Bed, the innovative solution made from recycled paper engineered with an ergonomic design to fit Asian body features. The solution is lightweight and space-efficient for logistics and storage. It takes only 8 minutes for setup with no extra glue needed. The paper bed can be used for up to 3 months if kept away from water. The bed can support up to 100 kilograms of weight in horizontal positions.  A total of 3,500 paper beds have been delivered to hospitals and field hospitals across the country with the goal to timely enhance safety and convenience for healthcare workers, patients, and close contacts.

In this regard, the consideration of delivering “SCGP Paper Field Hospital Bed” will be decided based on appropriateness to help mitigate the situation the best way possible.

SCG Foundation Calls for Young Thai Artist Award 2021 to Win Trophy Bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn

SCG Foundation is calling all young Thai artists aged between 15 to 25 years old nationwide to unleash their talents and creativities at the Young Thai Artist Award 2021 and earn a chance to win a trophy bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Recognized as one of the largest Thailand’s youth art competitions, the Young Thai Artist Award is on a mission to search for young blood in the art scene. The competition takes entries in six categories: Two-Dimensional Art, Three-Dimensional Art, Photography, Film, Literature, and Music Composition. The winner of each category will receive a Grand Prize trophy bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and a cash prize of 300,000 Baht, and those with an outstanding work of art will receive a cash prize of 50,000 Baht each as well as a Distinguished trophy of the program.

SCG Foundation and SCGP Donate SCGP Paper Field Hospital Beds to Support Patients Amid New Wave of COVID-19 in April 2021

Even during the Songkran festival, we have unceasingly provided assistance to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic, which is rapidly ravaging at the moment. SCG Foundation joined hands with SCGP to deliver 200 sets of SCG Paper Field Hospital Beds and nets to field hospitals to care for patients amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The handouts are arranged in the indoor venue at Chalerm Phrakiat Bang Bon Stadium , which has been in operation since 13 April.

In addition, more SCGP Paper Field Hospital Beds are to be delivered to the following hospitals to provide care for patients amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
– Field Hospital at Siriraj Training and Mindfulness Center in Nakhon Pathom Province  
– Field Hospital in Chonburi Province  
– Field Hospital in Samut Prakan Province
– Field Hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima Province 
The SCGP Paper Field Hospital Beds are now deployed to accommodate patients.

SCG Foundation Donates Modular Bathroom to BMA Field Hospital

SCG Foundation donated 8 Modular Bathrooms to a Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s field hospital. Dr. Suksan Kittisupakorn, Director-General of Medical Service Department, and Dr. Chaiyot Denariyakul, Director of Ratchaphiphat Hospital, accepted the handout.

The Modular Bathroom is a factory-built turnkey solution developed to ensure better quality control. Designed to facilitate fast installation with a one-day onsite setup, the Modular Bathroom can support emergency response for COVID-19 patients at the field hospital.
