SCG Foundation Pledges Support to White Gown Warriors at Sakhon People Care Center, Donating Modular Bathroom to Prevent COVID-19 Infection Risk

SCG Foundation donated a second batch of Modular Bathroom worth 640,000 Baht to healthcare workers and officials working at Sakhon People Care Center 8 and Wattana Factory 2 at Phanthai Norasing subdistrict, Mueang district, Samut Sakhon province. Samut Sakhon Deputy Governor Teerapat Kutchamath received the handout.

The Modular Bathroom is a factory-built turnkey solution developed to ensure better quality control with a one-day onsite setup. The Modular Bathroom provides safety practices with separate chambers to ensure infection control for medical workers. The handouts comprise two Modular Bathroom units, one for male and another for female, of which one unit consists of four rooms. The Modular Bathroom will provide adequate safety for medical workers and officials.

SCG Foundation Pledges Continuous Support to Flood Victims in the South

SCG Foundation offered 400 relief supply bags to flood-hit victims in Yala at Thasap community, Na Tham Yala community, and Limud community. The Foundation received excellent cooperation from the SCG Southern Office, Yala Yong Huat dealer, and staff from Yala Hospital, which collectively supports the setup of a screening station following the COVID-19 prevention guideline to ensure safety.

SCG Foundation pledged continuous support to healthcare workers and donated Covid-19 Innovation which are two positive pressure rooms worth 200,000 Baht. The handout aims to keep healthcare workers safe from infection of COVID-19 while offering screening and diagnosis at Mae Sot General Hospital in Tak province.

Offering Relief Supply Bags to Flood Victims in Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat

SCG Foundation offered relief supply bags filled with necessary staples to the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPAC) for further distribution to flood victims in Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat.

SCG Foundation Donates Bathroom Mobile Units for First Use to Sakhon People Care Center Worth 2 Million Baht with Pledge to Support COVID-19 Patients

SCG Foundation donated Sakhon People Care Center a series of Full-Furnished Bathroom Mobile units worth 2 million Baht setting for using for the first time at Na Di Subdistrict, Mueang District in Samut Sakhon Province. The units only took 3 days to setup. The Bathroom Mobile unit is designed and developed by Siam Sanitary Ware Industry Company Limited to ensure safe and functional toilet facilities. The units are fully assembled in the factory, which provides better control of quality.

The Foundation donated 3 Bathroom Mobile Units. Each unit consists of 5 rooms for male, female, and the elderly. Siam Sanitary Ware Industry Company Limited also donated one additional unit of 5 rooms. The donation aims to help mitigate hardship in an emergency manner of over 250 Thai and Myanmar people who are infected with COVID-19, during recovery and isolated at quarantine centers.

SCG Foundation Cares for Thai and Myanmar People, Launches Video “Never Give Up” To Encourage Self-Care for Maintaining Well-Being During COVID-19

The video clip is available in two languages: Thai and Burmese. The video shows simple ways to practice self-care, such as wearing a face mask, washing hands, and keeping physical distance. The project collaborates with Migrant Health Volunteers (MHVs) and Village Health Volunteers (VHVs), who appear in the video to demonstrate self-care tips to provide care to everyone.
