SCG Foundation, a public charity focusing on empowering people and promoting youth’s ability, is hosting the Young Thai Artist Award 2020 for a trophy bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Recognized as one of the largest national youth art competitions, the Young Thai Artist Award aims to offer a wide-open space for aspiring young talents to artistically create artworks where youngsters can unleash their artistic powers for social improvement in six categories: two-dimensional art, three-dimensional art, photography, film, literature, and music composition. This art competition is renowned for having strict and generally recognized methods of selection with the top-tier selection committee and the judging panel comprising national artists, prominent artists, and art experts.
In 2020, SCG Foundation would like to invite you to join a live-streaming session of the winner announcement, award presentation, and exhibition opening on Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 2 pm onwards. This year, the event will be held in a virtual format or a new normal art competition to avoid a public gathering. You can watch a livestream of the event on the Young Thai Artist Award Facebook page or SCG Foundation Facebook page, or Zoom webinar at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87272904428
